This air mattress was designed around how Jimny owners actually travel and camp. When off-roading or camping with a Jimny, having an air compressor on hand is already part of the setup, so designing the mattress to work seamlessly with a compressor made perfect sense. While many air mattresses on the market focus on being lightweight or requiring no equipment to inflate, they often become a hassle when it comes time to pack up. Air trapped inside the mattress needing constant pressure to roll flat. By using a compressor-compatible design with a one-action air release valve, this mattress inflates and deflates quickly, packs down easily, and fits naturally into a real-world Jimny camping setup.

Easy Setup & Pack-Up:

Setup

1. Roll out the mattress inside the vehicle.
2. Connect your air compressor using the supplied adaptor.
3. Set the desired pressure and allow the mattress to inflate automatically.
4. Place a layer of our Blanket/Rug range on top for added comfort.

Pack-Up

1. Press the one-action air release valve to fully deflate the mattress.
2. Fold and roll the mattress up.
3. Place it back into the supplied storage bag.

Note: Side designation is based on Right-Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles (Australian specification). For Left-Hand Drive (LHD) vehicles, the mattress can still be used, however the side positioning will be reversed, the wider mattress will sit on the driver side and the narrow width mattress sit on the passenger side.

What should I put underneath to level the mattress over the front seat area?

The mattress is designed to be quite firm so it can hold its shape and sit as flat as possible. In most cases, you won’t need to put anything underneath. If you’d like extra support or a more level surface, you can place the removed headrests or a pillow underneath the front seat area.

Can I sleep directly on the mattress, or should I add a blanket or cushion on top?

You can sleep directly on the mattress, but we recommend placing at least one blanket or fitted sheet over it for added comfort. The mattress material is not very breathable, so having a layer on top will make it more comfortable to sleep on. The mattress is also intentionally quite firm to maintain its shape, so if you prefer a softer sleeping surface, you may want to add a thicker blanket, topper, or cushion.

Can the driver-side mattress be flipped over and used on the passenger side?

Yes, it can be used on the passenger side if needed, but it won’t be a perfect fit. The rear interior shape differs slightly between the driver and passenger sides due to the fuel tank, so flipping the driver-side mattress over may leave a small gap or cause the contour to sit slightly out of shape in one area.

Please also note that the driver-side mattress is narrower than the passenger side. If you’re a larger sleeper or prefer more room, you may find the space a bit tight. However, the narrower design leaves the gear shifter and handbrake accessible, making it much more convenient if you’d like to keep the bed set up without needing to pack it away between uses.

Will this fit my Jimny 5-Door?

No, this mattress is designed for the Jimny 3-Door and does not fit the Jimny 5-Door.

If you’re looking for a mattress setup for the Jimny 5-Door, we’re currently developing one. Because the 5-Door rear seat and cargo area do not fold completely flat like the 3-Door, we’ve came up a completely different solution to make it work properly.
