Our Approach to Customer Service
Some customers assume that because we do not offer phone calls or in-person pickups, we must be a drop shipping business. This is NOT the case. We store our inventory in Australia and ship directly from our warehouse. Our operations involve extensive product assembly, quality control, test fitting and packaging with our installation guide to ensure customers receive exactly what they order.
At JimnyHype, we strive to provide the best customer experience while keeping our operations efficient. To ensure we can handle every enquiry properly and continue delivering high-quality service, we have chosen not to offer phone support or in-person pickups. Here’s why:
Most Answers Are Already Available
Before reaching out, we encourage customers to check the following sources for quick answers:
- Order Confirmation Email: Includes tracking details and order information.
- Product Pages: Detailed specifications, compatibility, and installation method.
- Terms and Policy: Covers common shipping, returns, and product-related queries.
Example: A customer calls to ask if a specific product fits their Jimny model. This information is listed on the product page under product detail section.
Time-Intensive and Inefficient
Offer phone call service and allowing pickups or installations is highly disruptive and time-consuming. We receive a high volume of enquiries daily, and a lot of jobs at the back end that we need to do daily. Our warehouse is structured for order fulfillment, packaging, and logistics. Allowing public access would slow down our operations and affect our ability to process orders efficiently. Without the interruption of phone calls and walk-in customers, we can finish our workflow efficiently.
Example: A customer calls asking for their tracking details in the middle of us trying to test fit a new product on our Jimny.
Email Provides a Better Record
Unlike phone calls, emails create a written record of communication. This helps both us and our customers track requests, follow up on issues, and reference past conversations when needed. Unlike phone calls, emails create a written record of communication. This helps both us and our customers track requests, follow up on issues, and reference past conversations when needed.
Example: A customer needs to return a product and asks for instructions. With an email, they have the details saved for reference, reducing confusion and the need for repeated contact, unlike a phone call where details might be forgotten.
Ensuring Professionalism
Without offering public pickup and phone calls, we do not need to have fixed operating hours, providing us flexibility and allowing us to work efficiently. Additionally, we do not need to maintain a showroom for parts or undergo costly renovations to create a professional retail space. By focusing on email support, we can carefully review each request, reference order details, and provide accurate responses without the risk of miscommunication. This ensures customers receive clear and precise information.
Example: A customer wants to come pick up their order while we planned for an outdoor photo shoot.
Allows Us to Focus on Our Workflow
Handling customer orders, packaging, website developing, product test fitting, generating instructions, management, and ensuring timely shipping are our top priorities. By minimizing disruptions from phone calls and public visits, we can focus on these essential tasks while still responding to emails efficiently. Instead of having to be ready for phone calls and visits throughout our entire operating hours, we allocate a specific timeframe each day to concentrate on replying to emails, ensuring that every enquiry gets the attention it deserves.
Example: If we constantly had to stop packaging orders to answer phone calls, it would slow down fulfillment times.
A Small but Efficient Team
We operate with a small team, and efficiency is key to keeping things running smoothly. By focusing on emails instead of phone calls, we can allocate time effectively to handle orders, provide accurate responses, and manage our operations without unnecessary interruptions. This approach ensures we can continue delivering quality service without compromising productivity.
We currently do not have the capacity to handle phone calls or manage in-person visits. By expanding this service would require additional staffing, which is not feasible at this stage. We strive to provide the best prices possible for both our products and services. Expanding our team would require increasing our profit margins or lowering operational costs, which is nearly impossible without affecting our pricing.
Additionally, training someone to handle customer enquiries comprehensively is extremely challenging, as our products require specific knowledge to provide accurate support. Despite these limitations, we are continuously working hard to improve our processes and customer service.
How You Can Reach Us

We appreciate your understanding and support. By keeping our communication streamlined, we can continue to provide the best service while focusing on what matters most – delivering great products for your Jimny!
